Fee schedule for individual sessions, parent sessions, resource development or team meetings
The fees below are based on a single session, a total session is an hour in length which includes approximately 45 – 50 minutes of face to face session time and 10 – 15 minutes for note taking and pack down.
The fee, or relevant proportion of the fee is also applied to reading past reports / files, creating reports, letters or phone calls. For off site sessions, travel costs are additional.

Speech Therapy
$193.99 for all clients, including NDIS funded and non-NDIS funded clients
Creative Arts Therapies
$193.99 for all clients, including NDIS funded and non-NDIS funded clients
Psychology
$214.41 for all clients, including NDIS funded and non-NDIS funded clients
Allied Health Assistant
$86.79 for all clients, including NDIS funded and non-NDIS funded clients
Group Sessions
Group rates vary depending on type of group and number of people, see staff for details
Fees for Assessments
Clinical Assessments involve the use of standardised tools that have been validated to objectively determine a clients needs, strengths/challenges or diagnosis. Our clinicians also provide individualised recommendations based on the outcomes of the assessments.
Clinical Assessments are comprehensive processes that can take several sessions, and several weeks for completion.
Our Assessment Fee Schedule is determined by the clinician’s hourly rate, the cost of the certified assessment form/s ($5-25 each), and the time required to (1) administer the assessment/s, (2) score the assessment/s, (3) evaluate the results, (4) produce a report, and (5) meet with the client/parents and/or teacher to discuss the results and recommendations.
Clinical Assessments with reports and feedback meetings can range from $1200 – $2800 including GST.
If you or your child require a formal clinical assessment, discuss your needs with your clinician.
Cancellation Fees and Policy
We understand that sometimes cancellations are inevitable and will fall outside of our policy and if this is the case, we would like to still be able provide therapy through a Zoom (online session) and or a Therapy Resource Pack. This session can also be used as a parent-therapist session if preferred.
- These sessions would then be invoiced as a standard session and therefore avoid the cancellation fee.
Appointments at The National PEKE Centre are booked ongoing generally months in advance and therefore we are often unable to fill cancellations with one off appointments. As a result, we have established the following cancellation policy in line with NDIS Policy.
The following cancellation fees apply:
NDIS Participants and the NDIS directed Cancellation Policy
NDIS now stipulates that, if you are required to cancel your appointment within 7 days of the appointment date, and if we are unable to fill that appointment by that date, a full fee will be billed for the cancelled service*. We appreciate that cancellations are unavoidable at times and we have processes in place to try our best to reschedule all cancelled appointments if possible. We maintain a list of all clients that are happy to be contacted to fill cancelled appointments. If you are happy to be placed on this list, please do let us know.
If your cancelled appointment cannot be filled, a cancellation fee will be invoiced.
Medicare and Private Paying Clients Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours (or on a Thursday for a Monday appointment) will incur the full fee.
Please note: Clinical care cannot continue to be offered if appointments are frequently cancelled as this disruption can impact progress and outcomes.
Holding Client Appointment Slots Policy
Where a regular client is wishing to pause their regular appointments for a period of three weeks or less (i.e., for a holiday), their space will be held for them, allowing them to resume their appointments as previous.
We are unable to hold appointment spaces for any period longer than three weeks (with notice).
