Rebecca Challoner National PEKE Centre

No more confusion, all your services in one place, therapists who work together using neurodivergent affirming practices and support specialists on hand when you need them

Rebecca Perkins

Welcome to Our Centre

The National PEKE Centre first started as a dream by company founders Rebecca Challoner and Christina Keeble. Who as parents of neurodivergent children as well as themselves being neurodivergent adults wished for a different way for services and therapies to be offered.

They were tired of dealing with clinicians and therapists who didn’t talk to each other. Tired of traveling to different places to access therapies. Receiving no support or advice especially after a diagnosis. And most of all were saddened by how deficit based the industry is, and how neurodivergent children, teens and adults get treated so negatively.

At the National PEKE Centre Rebecca and Christina’s dream became a reality.

All clinicians work as a team with the family or individual to create the best possible success, and everything from diagnosis to strength based and neurodivergent affirming therapies and family supports are all under one roof.

What We Offer

Diagnostics

With highly experienced diagnostic clinicians on site we can assess a wide range of conditions including Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory Processing Challenges, Mental Health Conditions, Challenging Behaviours and more.

Therapy

Having a range of therapists all under one roof allows clinicians to communicate effectively maintaining a team approach working together for the best client care. It also avoids confusion for families by keeping all their services together.

Our clinicians and therapists include: Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Music Therapist, Art Therapist and Support Specialist.

Groups

As well as a wide range of school holiday group activities. We also offer regular ongoing social opportunities groups for all ages.

The Social opportunities groups are a fantastic way for children, teens and adults to meet like minded people, and engage in a meaningful and deep way, whilst being supported by our experienced and highly trained therapists.

All Services In One Place

Instead of having to find different services in many different locations our hub approach means from diagnosis onwards you can remain in one place where you feel comfortable, know the team and the team knows you.

“I have spent my entire career working within this field with the goal of creating a centre that truly changed the way we offer services and support to neurodivergent people and their families. I am so proud to be able to finally create this service.”
